The Carbon Footprint of British Agriculture

The Nuffield Carbon Farming Conference.

The conference will focus on the impact of current farming practices on climate change and identify opportunities for farmers to reduce their carbon footprint.

The Conference will be opened with an introduction from Peter Kendall, NFU president.  The 'Frank Arden Memorial Study Project' team has been been undertaking research in the field of carbon footprinting for considerable time and will be the keynote speakers.

Break-out session and workshops will be held on:

  • New technologies
  • AD, Heat & Power
  • Carbon Accounting for Land Managers (CALM)
  • Implications for the Uplands
