CPNB 2010 ("The Dundee Conference") is the foremost Conference concerning environmental management and crop protection and associated topics in northern environments.
CPNB 2010 is organised by The Association for Crop Protection in Northern Britain, a non-profit making Registered Charity which brings together the Scottish Crop Research Institute, SAC, Scottish Agricultural Science Agency, SNH and the agricultural trade in Scotland.
The aim of the Conference is to bring together farmers, agricultural and horticultural advisers, the technical staff of the agricultural chemical trade and all those concerned with recent advances in chemical and non-chemical crop protection, including advisory, research and government organisations, to discuss crop protection problems prevalent in northern environments. In addition to those from Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland, the Conference will be of relevance to many others in Northern Europe.
The first day of the Conference begins with Agri-environmental and Economic Aspects, followed by Combinable Crops. Combinable Crops continues on the second day, which is dedicated primarily to Potatoes.
Delegates will be welcome to attend the Conference on either one or both days, at a cost of £80.00 per day, including lunch, venue, and registration charges. There are special concession rates for Students and Farmer Groups.
