Energy In Your Organisation Training

Training course aimed at those developing or updating their organisation's policy on sustainable energy.

The focus of this course is on helping you develop a sustainable energy policy for your organisation with a view to reducing its carbon footprint and energy costs. Through a number of discussions and workshops it aims to help you identify which would be the most appropriate energy policy for your organisation and the practical steps that will help you implement it. The day includes workshops and the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with others working in a similar area.

Topics covered will include:-
  • Energy efficiency;
  • Renewable energy
  • Transport
  • Behaviour change
  • Case Studies
  • Carbon neutrality - how can this be achieved - should we offset?
  • A look at the energy policies of other organisations
The day will also incorporate workshops. If delegates have particular issues that they would like to ensure are covered during the day please contact the training manager Sandra Hayes prior to the event.

By the end of the day delegates should have gained a greater understanding of what might be an appropriate energy policy for their organisation and how they might go about achieving this.
